PA teen arrested on suspicions of planning terror attack
16-year-old girl calls police, notifying them of her intention to carry out attack. During arrest, police attacked by her mother.
Over the course of last week, Israel Police and Border Police arrested a PA mother and daughter, aged 48 and 16, respectively, on suspicions including intention to carry out a terror attack and incitement to terror.
The daughter was arrested after she had notified police through a hotline that she intended to carry out an attack. During the arrest, according to suspicions, the mother began harassing and attacking police officers. Subsequently she, too, was arrested for interrogation.
The mother was involved in offenses of incitement through social media in which she is seen holding an automatic weapon, shooting it, and making expressions of incitement. She was interrogated for serious offenses of weapons possession, incitement to terror, shooting in urban areas, and assaulting police officers.
The arrests of the mother and daughter have been extended by the court until Sunday.
